The path to Hreggnasi starts from the footbridge over the stream at the entrance to Eysteinsdalur. Hreggnasi is 469m high, and the view is magnificent in all directions. It is quite steep when approaching the top, but after a while the path is quite easy and a relatively comfortable walk. There are steep cliffs on the other side of the summit.
