On this special day, we invite everyone to join a ranger at the Narional Park Center in Hellissandur on Saturday, September 16 between 1-3 pm to learn about the beautiful diversity of nature.

Icelandic Nature Day is celebrated on the 16th. September every year. The day is the birthday of Ómar Ragnarsson, a news and film maker who has been tireless in opening the public’s eyes to the riches of the country’s nature and the importance of protecting and preserving it.
