Service fee in Snæfellsjökull National Park.

One service fee is collected in Snæfellsjökull National Park to help cover the costs of managing and maintaining the area, including ranger services, public toilets and waste management.

Visitors pay the service fee when paying for parking within the national park. The service fee is valid until midnight throughout the entire national park.

Service Fee Schedule

  • Motorcycles: ISK 450

  • Passenger cars (up to 5 passengers): ISK 1.110

  • Passenger vehicles (6–9 passengers): ISK 1.440

  • Bus (10–21 passengers): ISK 2.770

  • Bus (22–32 passengers): ISK 5.200

  • Bus (33 passengers or more): ISK 9.400

Payment

Payment can be made using the Parka app or by scanning the QR code displayed at the parking areas and below. A payment kiosk is also available at Malarrif Visitor Centre. A payment kiosk will soon be installed at Djúpalónssandur.
