In the past, it was a large fishing hub, with many working men&#8217;s cottages and a chapel, but the farm has been deserted since 1945.  <\/p>\n\n<p>In \u00d6ndver\u00f0arnes you can see relics from the past, and it has a lighthouse.<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"https:\/\/snaefellsjokull.vinnugrunnur.is\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/DSC09792-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2422\"\/><\/figure>\n\n<p>The well F\u00e1lki is located there, which used to be the only source of water in \u00d6ndver\u00f0arnes and is ancient and protected. It is said that the well contains water from three different sources, one with fresh water, another with mineral water and the third with a hint of salt. <\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"685\" src=\"https:\/\/snaefellsjokull.vinnugrunnur.is\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/DSC09772-1024x685.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2420\"\/><\/figure>\n\n<p>South from \u00d6ndver\u00f0arnes are sea cliffs known as Sv\u00f6rtuloft from the sea. Many marine accidents have occurred under them.
