One of the craters is open on one side and is the most beautiful natural creation. <\/p>\n\n<p>There is a hiking trail from H\u00f3lavogur which encircles one of the craters near H\u00f3lah\u00f3lar and runs past the ponds and the ruins of the old H\u00f3lah\u00f3lar farmstead.
